19.2.

Even if everyone here talks about the spring, I can feel the spring here is like finnish one. The trees still looks like a dead ones, just the plums trees has bloomed and the wind is cold and wet. Probably we will see the ”spring” on 2 weeks, probably not.Tako has got wood for free. Two long wood stocks and he wanted to make an 馬”uma”. Uma means ”horse” but for daiku, uma is a special ”work table”, but doesn´t looks like a table. Unfortunately that sunday was really rainy, so we got a lot of small issues to prepare the wood at home before we went to the house.

Once we got to the house, the rain was unstoppable. Tako tried to start to work under the roof in the porsch, and it was totally unable to work at the garden. We tried to make fire close to the porsch, to keep the wood and the air dry. But of corse, the fire wood got wet, the ground too and it was a dark day. But slowly the rain stopped, I could keep the fire, Tako used a work LED lantern and finally we could continue our project.

Fortunately my parents in law came suddendly for visit us and gave us some food. I was happy to meet them again, inasmuch as we´ve met berfore to have a lunch together. We sit, ate and talked about the progress of the project. After that, we continued the work and my parents in law went home. Then, I continued my work at the garden and Tako continued with the table until we couldn´t see anymore. After we left the house, we went to a home center. We´re interesting to purchase an oven, but it´s impossible for now due to the saldo we have. Is not so easy to finance this project, but I´m sure we will do it.

Another thing I have to mentione is that my parents in law went to the house two days before (17.2) to pick some trash up from the garden and wasted it at the Cleaning Center. It was around 600 kg, pretty much, much more than we expected, but it was really kind, so I have to write it on the accounting note book. I cannot imagine how many times they went to the clean center.. probably 4 or 5 times...?

Aunque todos aquí hablan de la primavera, Sólo puedo sentir que la primavera aquí es como en Finlandia. Los árboles aún parecen muertos, sólo los ciruelos han florecido y el viento es frío y húmedo. Probablemente veremos la ”primavera” dentro de 2 semanas, probablemente no. Tako ha conseguido madera gratis, dos largos listones de madera y él quisiera hacer un 馬”uma”con ellos. Uma significa ”caballo”, pero para los daiku es una especie de ”mesa de trabajo”, aunque no parezca una. Lamentablemente ese domingo estuvo muy lluvioso, así que tuvimos muchos pequeños problemas para preparar la madera en casa antes de ir a la otra casa.

Una vez llegamos a la casa la lluvia parecía imparable. Tako estuvo tratando de trabajar bajo techo en el porche pero era imposible trabajar en el jardín. Intentamos encender fuego cerca al porche para mantener la madera y el aire secos. Pero por supuesto la leña ya estaba húmeda, así como el suelo y el día era demasiado oscuro. Pero comenzó a escampar poco a poco, pude mantener el fuego, Tako usó su linterna LED y finalmente pudimos continuar con nuestro proyecto.

Debido a la lluvia no pudo avanzar mucho que digamos.

Por suerte, mis suegros llegaron de repente para visitarnos y llevarnos comida. Me hizo feliz verlos de nuevo, puesto que nos habíamos encontrado ya antes para almorzar juntos. Nos sentamos a comer y hablar sobre los progresos en el proyecto. Luego de eso ellos regresaron a su casa y nosotros continuamos con el trabajo. Yo continué en lo mío y Tako con su mesa hasta que no pudimos ver más. Luego de irnos de allí fuimos a un Home Center. Estamos interesados en adquirir una estufa de leña, pero es imposible debido al saldo con el cual contamos. No es tan fácil financiar este proyecto, pero estoy segura de que vamos a lograrlo.

Otra cosa que debo mencionar es que mis suegros habían ido dos dias antes (17.2) a la casa para recoger algo de la basura que hay en el jardín y botarla al Centro de Residuos. Fueron alrededor de 600 kg, es bastante, mucho más de lo que esperábamos, pero fue muy amable de su parte. Así que debo anotarlo en el cuaderno de contabilidad. No puedo imaginarme cuántas veces fueron al Centro de Residuos.. Quizá 4 o 5 veces..?

El jardín ya sin la montana de libros!
